SONS OF ALLEN
The Sons of Allen have continually been involved in supporting college scholarships, youth travels to African Nations and other Countries. Other involvements have included various church and auxiliary activities here at Bethel such as the Women’s Missionary Society, the Ministry on Membership, Outreach and Evangelism, our YPD (Young Peoples Department), Social Action Committee, our annual Christmas Toy drive for children in our and other neighborhoods and communities, and Mid-Year, General and Annual AME Conferences.
We also continue to provide special support to Bethel’s weekly food pantry giveaway that operates each Friday between the hours of 10:00 am – 1:00 pm and Bethel AME’s Women’s Shelter that operates daily between 6:00 pm – 8:00 am. Our annual BBG and Calendar fundraisers play an important role in terms of supporting our efforts to financially support and/or collaborate with other Church auxiliaries. During the monthly gatherings, The Sons of Allen seek to address the spiritual, social, political, and psychological challenges faced by men. Breakfast is Always served.

SISTAH 2 SISTAH
The Sistah 2 Sistah Ministry focuses on various subjects that affect women from an intimate spiritual perspective with participation from Bethel women as well as Guest Speakers. This Ministry has Monthly Empowerment Nights and a yearly Women’s Conference. Dinner is Always Served.
WOMEN'S MISSIONARY SOCIETY (WMS)
The Sarah Tanner Women Missionary Society (WMS) is a Local Branch of the AME Connectional Women’s Missionary Society. It focuses on Community Outreach and various Mission Projects. The Sarah Tanner WMS plays an intricate part in The Bethel Food Pantry and has made contributions to our Women’s Homeless Shelter.

S.W.A.G. (SAVED WITH AMAZING GRACE) YOUTH CHURCH
Our children and youth under 18 yrs. old not only have a S.W.A.G. Moment with Pastor Rob but they also have their own Worship and Bible Study Experience which ministers to their Generation. They always leave S.W.A.G. Church fed both spiritually and physically.
YOUTH USHER BOARD (YUB)
The Youth Usher Board of Bethel AME Church has been providing spiritual and doorkeeper service since 1955. The Youth Usher Board consists of Children and Youth under 18 yrs. old who desire to be doorkeepers during Morning Worship Service on the 3rd Sunday.
YOUNG PEOPLE'S DEPARTMENT (YPD)
Our Young People’s Department (YPD) is the Local Youth Dept. of the AME Connectional WMS/YPD. Our YPD seeks to do activities that is empowering to our Young People as well as Community Outreach Programs including sponsoring an Annual Christmas Toy Give -Away for the Western Addition Community and MLK Community Breakfast at Fellowship Manor, one of Bethel’s Housing Ministries.

The aim of the Bethel Housing Ministry seeks to provide affordable housing through collaboration with civic, local and private partnerships. At present, Bethel provides 633 Apartment Units within their housing communities of Fellowship Manor, Laurel Gardens Apartments, Prince Hall Apartments, Thomas Paine, Willie B. Kennedy and Rosa Parks Apartments.

MUSIC MINISTRIES
Bethel Music Ministries comes with an Anointed Sound of Praise and Worship. It consists of (4) Choirs including the New Vision Choir, Women in Worship, Men’s Choir, and Mass Choir. Upon hearing their powerful sounds along with our Minister of Music, Minister Chris Haynes and “The House Band”, one will be ushered into the presence of the Lord. Our Music Ministries also has an Annual Music Workshop facilitated by Guest musicians and Gospel Recording Artists.

PRAYER CIRCLE

LITURGICAL ARTS
Incorporates a wide range of artistic expressions including visual arts, music, dance and drama and mime. The sole purpose is to glorify God.
LAY ORGANIZATION
The purpose of the Lay Organization is to organize and train the lay members of the A.M.E. Church, so that each member may utilize the abilities and skills granted by God.
CHURCH SCHOOL
The teaching ministry of Bethel church provided through classes and Bible Study entitled WOW, the Word on Wednesday at 12:00 PM & 7:00 PM.
COMMISSION ON MEMBERSHIP & EVANGELISM
The Commission on Membership and Evangelism is devoted to sharing the joy of Christ with the Bethel family and the community. The goal is to share the gospel bringing more persons into the family of Christ through evangelistic events and ministry outreach.

THE BETHEL HERITAGE FOUNDATION
The mission of the Bethel Heritage Foundation is to raise, manage, and administer funds to support the advancement of the mission of Bethel AME Church San Francisco through its programs and services of sharing faith, building lives and developing community.
